To support its strategic expansion, strengthen its internal governance and ensure its operational efficiency, the company is seeking a rigorous, proactive and detail-oriented Internal Controller to join its team.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Internal Controller will be responsible for evaluating, monitoring, and improving the effectiveness of the company’s internal control environment, risk management framework, and operational procedures. This role ensures that internal policies, financial controls, and statutory regulations are strictly adhered to across all business units to mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks.\nKey Responsibilities :\n1. Internal Control Framework & Policy Mapping\nDesign, implement, and update internal control policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and governance frameworks.\nPerform regular evaluations of business processes (Procurement, Sales, Finance, HR, Inventory) to identify control gaps, operational risks, and inefficiencies.\nMap operational risk matrixes and establish key risk indicators (KRIs) across all departments.\n2. Auditing, Testing & Compliance Verification\nPlan and execute internal audit assignments across operations, accounting, inventory, and supply chain.\nVerify compliance with internal rules, company policies, OHADA accounting standards, and local legal/regulatory requirements in Cameroon.\nConduct inventory stock counts, fixed asset verifications, and financial reconciliations on a periodic and unannounced basis.\nEnsure proper authorization channels, segregation of duties, and approval workflows for all financial transactions and procurement activities.\n3. Fraud Prevention & Risk Mitigation\nDetect, investigate, and document any non-compliance, operational irregularities, inventory shrinkage, or financial leakage.\nPropose actionable recommendations to eliminate control deficiencies and prevent fraudulent practices.\nFollow up on the implementation of internal control recommendations and external auditor management letters.\n4. Reporting & Strategic Advice\nPrepare clear, structured, and timely internal control/audit reports detailing findings, risk impacts, and action plans for Management.\nConduct periodic follow-up reviews to track the implementation of corrective measures.\nProvide continuous training and awareness to staff on internal control best practices, ethics, and compliance.\nQualifications & Requirements:\n Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Bac+3) in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Internal Control, or Business Administration. \n Professional certifications (CIA, CFE, ACCA, or equivalent) are a strong advantage.\n Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Internal Control, Internal Audit, or External Audit (preferably within an international audit firm or a structured medium to large enterprise).\n Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of internal control frameworks (COSO), risk management practices, OHADA accounting standards, and Cameroonian tax/labour regulations.\nLanguage Skills: Bilingualism (English and French)is required, with fluent spoken and written proficiency in English language.\n\nSoftware Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, ERP accounting software, and data analysis tools.\nKey Competencies & Soft Skills:\nAnalytical Rigor & Objectivity: Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and impartial judgment.\nIntegrity & Ethics: Uncompromising professional ethics, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information with total integrity.\nProblem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to identify root causes of operational weaknesses and design practical solutions.\nCommunication & Diplomacy: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate audit findings diplomatically and assertively to
