We offer career opportunities in print and mail production, with medical, dental, vision insurance and a competitive 401K.\nLocation: 605 Territorial Dr Bolingbrook, IL 60440\nWork Hours: 5pm - 5am, with expected additional hours/weekends mandatory\nPay: Starting at $19/hr based on skills and experience\nWhat we are looking for:\nOperator in Bindery is responsible for activities related to cutting and folding in our Bindery Department.\nWhat you will be doing:\nOperating and set up of Guillotine cutters and Folders \nPerform emergency and daily equipment maintenance to devise as required\nComplete departmental daily tasks including but not limited to housekeeping, communication and operations \nData entry of jobs being processes in Amsive ERP (Monarch) \nCommunicate to Lead, Supervisor, Manager and Team \nAssist in special duties and projects as required by Management \nWho you are:\nExperience in high volume direct mail, transactional print, or statement/mail manufacturing\n1+ years operating bindery equipment in a commercial print or direct mail environment \nAptitude for accuracy and a meticulous eye for detail\nExperience reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals\nAbility to document production activities and send/reply to e-mail correspondence \nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals\nHigh School/GED education or combined education/experience \nSupervisory Responsibilities: Not responsible for supervising other employees.\nWork Environment: Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility\nPhysical Demands:\nStand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching \nMust be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds\nPerform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment\nSecurity Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.\nOther Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
