While meeting productivity standards and performance requirements in a team environment.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nSet-up, operating and minor maintenance of insert equipment \nAble to operate machine(s) independently for all types of jobs \nInsert machine set up basic jobs \nConsistently achieves expected throughput/efficiency \nAble to run 100% mail well for critical clients \nTrouble-shooting equipment \nProvide proper machine adjustments to meet established standards \nEnsure proper sorting according to USPS requirements \nReconciling/recording for all output \nAccurately use job data capture to track time \nShow a strong quality of work\nMaintain an organized, safe, and clean work area \nEffectively use the quality control procedures monitoring quality of the final output \nReviews schedule for jobs assigned daily; reports issues back to Supervisor\nFollow all plant, department and work area safety rules and operation procedures \nWho you are:\n2 years experience working with high speed production/manufacturing equipment\nMail inserting machine experience is strongly preferred\nExcellent work history of longevity, attendance record and punctuality \nPosition requires High School/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience. \nKnowledge of USPS regulations \nAbility to read and understand job tickets \nEnglish fluency in reading, writing, and speaking required\nBilingual Spanish speaking preferred.\nSupervisory Responsibilities: None \nWork Environment: Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility\nPhysical Demands:\nStand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching\nMust be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds\nPerform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment\nSecurity Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.\nIf you need reasonable accommodation with the application process, please reach out.\nAmsive is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
