This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who enjoys investigating data, solving problems, and turning findings into recommendations that improve client programs. Strong, direct email analytics experience is essential.\nYou will own email performance analysis and reporting, guide measurement and testing, and serve as a knowledgeable analytical partner to clients. You will collaborate with Email Operations, Client Experience, and technical teams, bringing analytical depth and clear communication to day-to-day decisions and longer-term strategy.\nWhat you will be doing:\nOwn email performance analysis through analyzing campaigns, audiences, segments, and lifecycle programs to explain results and identify opportunities. \nInvestigate complex questions. Evaluate audience fatigue, contact frequency, engagement changes, conversion trends, and program effectiveness. \nTurn insights into action by recommending improvements to targeting, segmentation, messaging, cadence, and testing in partnership with the email team. \nGuide testing and measurement strategies. Help define hypotheses, success metrics, audience groups, and holdouts; analyze results and recommend next steps. \nBuild and maintain reliable reporting. Create dashboards and performance reports that clearly explain results, implications, and recommended actions. \nEnsure data accuracy. Validate reporting, investigate discrepancies, and work with technical teams to resolve tracking and data issues. \nLead client analytics discussions. Present findings to clients, answer performance questions, and collaborate directly with client analytics teams. \nStrengthen team capabilities. Establish practical measurement standards, document approaches, improve current processes and help colleagues interpret email performance. \nManage analytical priorities. Balance recurring reporting with deeper investigations across client programs. \nWho you are:\n5+ years of experience in Email Services, Marketing Analytics, or a similar field.\nStrong, demonstrated experience in email marketing analytics, including independently analyzing complex email programs. \nDeep understanding of email metrics, audience segmentation, lifecycle performance, and conversion measurement. \nExperience analyzing engagement trends, contact frequency, and audience fatigue. \nStrong knowledge of A/B testing, statistical significance, holdouts, and measurement limitations. \nProficiency in SQL for accessing, joining, analyzing, and validating data. \nExperience in email platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, Klayvio, Braze, Hubspot, or similar.\nExperience creating dashboards and reports using business intelligence or data visualization tools. \nAbility to troubleshoot reporting discrepancies and collaborate with technical teams on resolution. \nAbility to translate complex findings into clear, practical recommendations. \nStrong communication and presentation skills, including experience working directly with clients. \nComfort working in a small team, taking ownership, and balancing hands-on work with strategic thinking. \nPreferred Qualifications \nAgency experience supporting multiple client email programs. \nBachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or similar field.\nFamiliarity with enterprise email platforms and their reporting and data structures. \nExperience connecting email engagement with CRM, conversion, revenue, or other business outcomes. \nExperience improving reporting processes through automation. \nKnowledge of Ampscript, HTML5, Javascript, CSS3, SQL, and Figma.\nAdditional Information\nSalary starting at $100,000/yr, based on skills and experience\nUnlimited Vacation Time, Annual Sick Days, Annual Personal Days, and 11 Paid Holidays\nDental, Vision, and Health Insurance\n401(k) with company match program\nPaid Parental Leave\nOther Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
