This is not a traditional reporting role, you will help design semantic models, develop scalable analytics solutions, build AI-enabled data experiences, and improve how business users consume data across our organization.\nWorking alongside Data Engineers, Solution Architects, Business Intelligence professionals, and Marketing teams, you'll help transform enterprise data into trusted, reusable assets that power reporting, AI applications, and operational decision making. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, embraces AI-assisted development, and constantly looks for better ways to build, automate, and deliver analytics.\nWhat You Will Be Doing:\nSemantic Modeling & Analytics\nDesign, develop, and maintain Power BI semantic models that support enterprise reporting and self-service analytics. \nDevelop scalable star schemas, measures, calculated columns, hierarchies, perspectives, and Row-Level Security. \nOptimize semantic models for performance, usability, and governance. \nBuild reusable metrics and governed business logic shared across reporting solutions. \nMicrosoft Fabric & Data Engineering\nDevelop and enhance analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse technologies. \nWrite and optimize SQL, Spark SQL, and PySpark notebooks supporting analytics workloads. \nPartner with Data Engineers to improve data quality, performance, and reliability. \nTroubleshoot data pipelines, semantic models, and reporting issues across the platform. \nAI & Modern Analytics\nDesign AI-enabled analytical experiences using Microsoft Fabric Data Agents and Azure AI technologies. \nDevelop structured outputs (including JSON) that support internal web applications and AI-powered user experiences. \nEvaluate emerging AI capabilities and recommend practical applications that improve productivity and business value. \nUse AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and automate repetitive work. \nOperational Intelligence\nBuild dashboards that monitor Fabric capacity utilization, refresh performance, workload health, pipeline execution, and overall platform performance. \nDevelop reporting that helps engineering teams proactively identify performance bottlenecks and operational issues. \nHelp establish monitoring standards for enterprise analytics solutions. \nWhat We're Looking For:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline. \n3-5 years of experience designing analytical solutions using modern cloud data platforms. \nStrong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Power BI, or comparable enterprise analytics platforms. \nExperience developing Power BI semantic models and writing DAX measures. \nStrong SQL skills with experience querying and transforming large datasets. \nExperience developing PySpark and Spark SQL solutions. \nUnderstanding of dimensional modeling and enterprise data warehouse concepts. \nExperience working with Git-based source control. \nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. \nExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. \nDemonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team. \nExperience with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse architecture, Direct Lake semantic models, or Delta Lakes are preferred \nAdditional Information:\nSalary starting at $90,000/yr, based on skills and experience \nPaid time off that includes Unlimited Vacation Time, Annual Sick Days, Mental Health Days, and Holidays \nDental, Vision, and Health Insurance \n401(k) with a company match program \nPaid Parental Leave \nOther Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
