This is accomplished by mixing raw materials to create finished products, weighing correct chemicals, and sampling finished product to Quality Control for approval. This individual should also have a working knowledge of all company products as well as all mixing equipment.\n.Why this role matters:\nAt AMSOIL, the Blender plays a critical role in delivering the high-quality products our customers trust. This position is responsible for accurately combining raw materials, following precise formulations, and ensuring every batch meets strict quality and safety standards. By maintaining production efficiency, product consistency, and operational safety, Blenders help keep our manufacturing process running smoothly and ensure customers receive reliable products on time.\nWhat you will own:\nFollows formulations and processing procedures as required by production demand.\nOperates and cleans all equipment, tanks, mixers, scales meters, pumps, and vessels as needed.\nSets up and monitors all mixing tanks and mixers.\nMaintains a safe working environment, always utilizing appropriate safety equipment.\nWillingly and proactively assists fellow blenders and teammates when needed.\nSubmits finished product samples and all paperwork for approval and in a timely fashion.\nEnsures raw material usage on each batch is added correctly and with correct measurement.\nCommunicates openly and frequently with production team when batches are complete and ready to fill.\nResponsible for loading and offloading railcars and tankers as required.\n\nWhat you bring:\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nPrior experience operating blending equipment a plus but not required.\nCertificates/Licenses Required:\nForklift certification preferred.\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:\nAble to work with limited supervision.\nMust be able to read and comprehend written and oral instructions including safety rules, operating procedures, batch recipes, and material identification.\nMust have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide as well as making the necessary conversions.\nMust have basic computer skills.\nDisplay good troubleshooting skills.\n\nCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States (or Canada if applicable) without current or future employer sponsorship.\nCompensation That Reflects Your Value:Your experience and contributions matter.
