By supporting quality management systems, environmental compliance, safety programs, audits, training, and continuous improvement efforts, the Quality & EHS Specialist helps protect employees, strengthen operational performance, and ensure AMSOIL continues to meet our standards and regulatory requirements.\nScheduled hours: In office Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm\n\nWhat you will own:\nEnterprise Alignment & Governance\nLead site-level Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QA/EHS) responsibilities in alignment with AMSOIL standards, policies, management systems, and applicable regulations.\nEnsure local practices, procedures, documentation, and controls meet enterprise expectations and support audit readiness.\nIdentify and escalate risks, gaps, and compliance concerns through established governance processes.\nQuality Assurance & Continuous Improvement\nOwn and strengthen the site Quality Management System (QMS), including ISO requirements, audits, corrective actions, and certifications.\nAnalyze quality trends and nonconformances, lead root cause analysis, and drive effective corrective actions.\nPartner with operations and cross-functional teams to solve problems, reduce risk, and deliver continuous improvement.\nEnvironmental, Health & Safety\nLead site EHS programs, training, inspections, and compliance activities in alignment with AMSOIL standards and OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulations.\nConduct safety audits and job hazard analyses; investigate incidents and drive corrective actions.\nSupport the Environmental Management System (EMS), including ISO 14001 requirements, environmental compliance, and ESG-related reporting.\nEngagement & Partnership\nBuild a strong culture of quality, safety, and compliance through clear communication, training, and collaboration.\nEngage teams across the organization to identify risks, solve problems, and create practical improvements that keep our workplace safe, compliant, and continuously improving.\n\nWhat you bring:\nA bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that prepares you to successfully perform the role.\n1+ years of experience in quality assurance, EHS, safety-focused work, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.\nWorking knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, with the ability to support site-level quality and EHS systems.\nUnderstanding of OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.\nAbility to execute site-level QA/EHS responsibilities while staying aligned with AMSOIL corporate standards, policies, procedures, and management systems.\nStrong judgment and communication skills, including the ability to identify gaps, risks, or deviations and escalate concerns through appropriate governance channels.\nDetailed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support audits, investigate nonconformances or incidents, participate in root cause analysis, and help drive corrective actions.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate documentation, records, reports, audit materials, and corrective action tracking.\nAbility to partner effectively with operations and cross-functional teams to resolve quality, safety, environmental, and compliance-related issues.\nValid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to be insurable for AMSOIL INC. vehicles.\nCandidates must be authorized to work in the United States (or Canada if applicable) without current or future employer sponsorship.\n\nCompensation That Reflects Your Value:Your experience and contributions matter.
