# Project/Improvement Engineer

Overview: Serves as a project manager for capital and expense projects of all sizes using the Americas Styrenics Project Delivery Process. This position also provides technical support to the Operations and Maintenance Departments. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Logistics, Environmental Health&Safety, and Quality to develop and execute projects and improvement opportunities for the Hanging Rock plant. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and implement projects which improve the profitability, operability, reliability, safety, and environmental performance of the Hanging Rock Plant in accordance with the AmSty Business Plan and plant specific objectives. Develop and prioritize the plant’s 5-year capital plan. Work closely with Operations, Maintenance, Logistics, EH&S, and Quality to understand improvement opportunities across these functional areas. Manage the plant’s Value Creation program. Utilize plant, other AmSty resources, and third parties to ensure a detailed scope of work is developed for all projects and project alternatives and costs are thoroughly evaluated and agreed upon by key stakeholders.
