In addition to supporting projects in the Towson, MD office, the candidate will be involved with other AMT offices and project opportunities.\nResponsibilities\nCompletion of calculations, reports and plans in support of transportation projects including stormwater management, storm drainage systems, culverts, open channels, bridge hydraulics and erosion and sediment control.\nPerform Hydrologic and Hydraulic analysis and reporting.\nObtain permit approvals from state and local agencies.\nAssist in the preparation of engineering documents (plans, reports, cost estimates and specifications) for Advertisement and Construction.\nMeet and work directly with clients and public agency officials.\nWork in collaboration with a Transportation design team comprised of other disciplines and support staff on multi-disciplinary projects.\nProvide QA/QC review following AMT and client-based procedures.\nRequired Qualifications\nBS in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Water Resources.\nMinimum of 7 years of water resources related experience including plan and report production.\nHydrology and hydraulic modeling experience (storm drainage, SWM, floodplain, bridge) with commonly used software.\nMaryland or Virginia Professional Engineer license required.
