In-house training, education assistance, paid time for professional organization involvement\nAMT is seeking a Transportation Project Manager with 8-12 years’ experience for a position in our Towson, Maryland or Rockville, Maryland office. The position is full-time, and AMT will provide the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home 2 to 3 days per week, as agreed upon with the Transportation Group Leader.\nYou’ll find success in this position if you:\n· Have strong time management skills and the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects\n· Can identify and resolve project risks and design challenges\n· Enjoy building and motivating teams\n· Have strong written and oral communication skills\nQualifications\nProfessional Engineer (PE) in Maryland, Virginia, or Washington DC Required\n8 to 12 years’ experience in roadway, highway, and traffic control plan preparation with past project management experience\nProficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D\nStrong written and oral communication skills \nResponsibilities\nLeading multi-discipline teams to deliver transportation design projects, with a focus on multi-modal roadway projects\nServing as liaison between client and project team including external stakeholder agencies\nManaging all technical resources on the project team including subconsultants\nPreparing task proposals and establish project pricing and budgets\nDeveloping project management plans for assigned projects and preparing monthly progress reports\nDeveloping and maintaining project schedules\nLeading or participating in client meetings and presentations\nProviding quality control reviews of submittals and deliverables\nMentoring and training junior staff\nAssisting with production tasks (CADD drawings, reports, graphics / renderings, etc.)\nAssisting Group Leader and Division Directors with business development and proposals\nMaintaining a positive working relationships with co-workers, project managers, supervisors, and other team
