This role works closely with product management, engineering, UX, and customers to ensure our scheduling products deliver measurable operational value for manufacturers.\nWorking under the direction of a Product Manager, the Product Owner translates roadmap initiatives and projects into actionable development work. This individual will own the product backlog, break initiatives into epics and stories, coordinate multi-team planning, and collaborate with engineering to deliver high-quality scheduling capabilities.\nThe ideal candidate understands manufacturing operations, ERP systems, and production scheduling, and is comfortable working with both technical teams and manufacturing customers.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nProduct Ownership\nOwn and manage the product backlog for the automated scheduling products.\nWork with Product Managers to create epics from initiatives and roadmap projects.\nDefine and prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on customer needs, product strategy, and business goals.\nWrite clear user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams.\nWork with tech leads and development teams to plan sprints across multiple months.\nEnsure backlog items are ready for sprint planning and development.\nCustomer & Market Insight\nWork with the Product Manager to understand and implement the roadmap.\nWork with customers, customer support, and services to fix software defects and to define and implement customer-specific features.\nEngage with customers to understand manufacturing workflows, scheduling challenges, and product opportunities.\nTranslate manufacturing and scheduling requirements into scalable product capabilities.\nAgile Development Collaboration\nWork closely with engineering, QA, UX, and architecture teams during sprint planning, development, and release cycles.\nCoordinate with Product Managers, tech leads, and the development team in Program Increment (PI) planning.\nParticipate in sprint ceremonies including planning, reviews, and retrospectives.\nClarify requirements and ensure development teams understand the desired product outcomes.\nProduct Delivery\nValidate that delivered functionality meets acceptance criteria and business objectives.\nSupport product releases including documentation, training, and internal enablement.\nCollaborate with product management and leadership on roadmap execution.\nCross-Functional Coordination\nWork with implementation, support, and sales teams to ensure product features align with customer needs.\nProvide product expertise for internal stakeholders.\nHelp drive continuous improvement of scheduling capabilities.\nSKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS\n3-5+ years experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in a software environment.\nExperience working in Agile / Scrum development environments.\nExperience with ERP systems.\nStrong experience managing product backlogs and writing user stories.\nAbility to translate business requirements into technical product specifications.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nProduct backlog management\nAgile / Scrum development\nScheduling / manufacturing operations\nRequirements definition\nStakeholder communication\nData-driven decision making\nNice to Have:\nExperience with manufacturing or other scheduling and scheduling-optimization applications (strongly preferred).\nKnowledge of production scheduling, shop floor operations, or manufacturing analytics.\nExperience with ERP integrations and manufacturing workflows.\nBackground working with industrial, manufacturing, or supply chain software.\nExperience with tools such as Jira or similar backlog management systems.\nWhy Join Amtech\nAt Amtech, you will drive meaningful financial impact in a growing enterprise software organization while benefiting from Vista’s world-class ecosystem.
