Ideal candidates will live within reasonable commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the following locations:\nLexington, KY\nLouisville, KY\nAshland, KY\nBowling Green, KY\nDyersburg, TN\nColumbia, SC\nCharleston, SC\nGreeneville, SC\nChandler, AZ\nWe offer long-term opportunities as well as steady work, benefits and a 401K.\nPrimary Role:\nElectrician Helpers work under the supervision and direction of Journeyman Electricians, foreman, and other\nleadership on the construction project. Helpers will perform duties as assigned within their assessed skill level,\nand will have the opportunity to enroll in Amteck’s accredited apprenticeship program to work and study\ntoward achieving Journeyman classification and licensure. Electrician helpers will also have the opportunity to\nlearn and grown in other divisions of Amteck, like low voltage, controls, process work, and fire alarm along with\nother skill sets within the electrical trade.\n Requirements:\n2+ years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites\nExperience with running/bending Rigid and EMT conduit\nOSHA 10 preferred but not required\nExperience working alongside a Journeyman Electrician\nIn 1977 Amteck was founded in Central Kentucky with the belief that growth only comes by listening and responding to both clients and employees.
