If you’re an ACAS (or near) and excited to work on a collaborative team, solving problems, building strategy, and getting stuff done at a top workers compensation carrier, this is the place for you.\nResponsibilities\nDrive Profitability\nCalculate aggregate state rate indications\nAnalyze state profitability at a segmented level and Identify areas of opportunity and challenge\nRecommend rate changes or other actions that will provide the right balance between profitability and growth.\nProvide actuarial support for quick rate filing approvals, ensuring rate filings are compliant with state regulations\nCommunicate results and insights to Product and other business partners to gain consensus on a go-forward plan of action\nPerformance Monitoring\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain dashboards to track Workers’ Compensation results\nTrack relevant economic trends and industry benchmarks\nPrice large, high deductible and excess Workers Compensation accounts\nAdditional Contributions\nActuarial research projects\nPlanning\nReinsurance pricing\nSupport crossline of business sales and pricing initiatives\nPartnering with the Modeling team to assess predictive model outputs\nQualifications\nBS, BA or higher degree\nACAS or close and pursual of FCAS\n4+ years of property-casualty commercial lines insurance experience\nWorkers Compensation pricing experience is strongly preferred\nStrong analytical and communication skills are a must\nExtensive knowledge of Excel, Word, and SQL.
