Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.\nResponsibilities\nImplement containerization and Kubernetes capabilities with documented architecture and configurations that can scale globally across the enterprise.\nWork with development, engineers, and cloud service providers to develop cloud adoption and migration strategies\nDrive architectural discussions in support of business requirements gathering, analysis, and design\nEngineer highly scalable and available solutions based on industry best practices and practical experience\nCollaborate with Developers, Systems Operations, and vendors as needed to solve integration challenges\nRecommend tools and methodologies to engineers, create proof-of-concept implementations for demonstration\nBreak large complex systems into manageable subsystems and components, each of which can be managed by individuals or teams in a scalable manner\nCreate and maintain technical documentation and utilize version control systems, such as Git\nQualifications\nExperience with installing and managing Kubernetes (CKA preferred)\nExperience with at least one service mesh platform (istio, consul, etc.)\nExperience with managing Linux environments, supporting applications such as Redis, ElasticSearch, etc.\nFamiliar with Logging Monitoring and Alerting platforms such as Prometheus, and Alertmanager, etc.\nExperience in at least one of: python, go, javascript, or ruby.\nExperience with security hardening for compliance frameworks (CIS Benchmark, etc)\nExperience designing and working in AWS or Azure at an enterprise level\nExperience with Continuous Integration/Deployment processes and technologies\nA degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience\n5+ years of professional relevant experience\nPreferred:\nAWS certs, Azure certs, and/or Certified Kubernetes Administrator is a plus.\nThis job description is designed to provide a general overview of the requirements of the job and does not entail a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties, or responsibilities that will be required in this position.
