ANA is growing and scaling, and we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing team in an onsite position in Henderson, Nevada. As a Senior Accountant, you will prepare financial reports to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.\nThe position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays at 8:00-5:00 pm. This role reports to the Accounting Manager.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nMaintains the general ledger\nSales and use tax for multiple states\nLease Accounting ASC842\nAllocate expenses to all departments\nRecord elimination entries for 2 entities\nPrepaid Schedule\nCodes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and assist with month-end closing\nReconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks\nVerifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts\nProvides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit\nReconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances\nPreparing financial statements\nAssessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas\nPerforming monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses\nMaintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules\nMentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff\nPerforms general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required\n3-5+ years of accounting experience required\nExtensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting\nUnderstanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles\nHighly proficient with accounting software\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software\nWorking knowledge of tax laws and GAAP\nStrong financial analysis skills\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal\nStrong organizational and stress management skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, Intermediate Excel
