We're seeking a 1st Shift Quality Engineer to be a key driver of operational excellence, partnering directly with manufacturing teams to reduce defects, solve complex technical challenges, and continuously improve processes that support high-reliability products.\nThis is an opportunity to make a visible impact on the factory floor, lead quality initiatives, influence production outcomes, and help maintain the highest standards of compliance, customer satisfaction, and product performance. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoy using data, root cause analysis, and problem-solving tools to drive measurable results, we'd love to hear from you.\nKey Responsibilities:\nProvides Quality Group metrics to senior staff at regularintervals. Worksclosely with designand manufacturing groupsto define process improvements and ensures compliance to manufacturing processes and new product introduction (NPI).\n\nWorks cross-functionally on documentation to improve procedures and workflows via process audits.\n\nWorks with contracts and program management to review Quality clauses during RFQs and new purchase orders\n\nProvides support and hosts customer audits. The candidate will also support supplier audits and ISO certification audits.\n\nDrive quality improvement not limited to:\nZero Defect Philosophy\n\nApply risk mitigation and FMEA tools to increase yields\n\nImprove SupplierKPIs\n\nDevelop new ideas for metrics and implement through a quality dashboard\n\nDesigns and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and/or production equipment.\n\nWorks root cause corrective actions and performs verification to prevent recurrence.\n\nSupport MRB/TRB/Change requests on a weekly basis as needed.\n\nQualifications:\nMust be a US Citizen\n\nMaster’s degree in engineering or Bachelor’s degree in engineering and equivalent experience in electronics manufacturing environment (2+ years)\n\nProven leadership and effective oral communication skills\n\nAn understanding of root cause corrective action (RCCA)\n\nUnderstanding of Quality Management Systems: ISO9001, AS9100, and other related systems\n\nAble to deal with multiple issues simultaneously and have the awareness ofsetting priorities.\n\nMust have good Engineering skills regarding machining, tolerancing, reading source control drawings and general electrical engineering skills.\n\nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
