Learn more at www.analog.com and on LinkedIn and X.\nbout the Role\nWe are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Inventory Reserves Analyst to support inventory valuation and reserve accounting activities within a global manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for preparing and analyzing inventory reserve calculations, investigating reserve drivers, supporting month-end close and audit activities, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.\nThe successful candidate will collaborate with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT teams to provide meaningful insights into inventory risks and reserve movements while helping drive continuous process improvements and reporting efficiency.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare and analyze monthly inventory reserve calculations and supporting schedules.\n\nInvestigate reserve fluctuations and provide explanations for significant inventory valuation changes.\n\nPerform data validation, reconciliations, and reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness.\n\nSupport SOX compliance, audit requests, and maintenance of audit-ready documentation.\n\nDevelop recurring reports and perform ad hoc analyses to support business decision-making.\n\nPartner with cross-functional teams to understand inventory risks and reserve drivers.\n\nAssist in process improvement and automation initiatives related to inventory reporting and analysis.\n\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.\n\n2+ years of experience in inventory accounting, cost accounting, financial analysis, or manufacturing finance.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.\n\nProficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is an advantage.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple functions.\n\nPreferred Experience\nExposure to semiconductor or manufacturing environments.\n\nExperience supporting inventory valuation, reserves, audits, or SOX-related activities.\n\nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
