Working alongside experienced engineers, you will participatein the design, implementation, testing, and support of software that interfaces with hardware systems and enables product functionality.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, maintain, and debug embedded software and firmware components under the guidance of experienced engineers.\nParticipate in software development activities including coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.\nAssistin integrating software with hardware systems and embedded platforms.\nSupport software verification, validation, and troubleshooting efforts throughout the development cycle.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, applications, and product engineering teams.\nContribute to technical documentation, software design discussions, and code reviews.\nApply software engineering principles and development best practices to assigned tasks.\nMust Have Skills\nKnowledge of software developmentfundamentals and programming concepts.\nExperience with C and/or C++ programming through coursework, projects, internships, or professional experience.\nUnderstanding ofembedded systems concepts, microcontrollers, or hardware-software interaction.\nFamiliarity with debugging tools and problem-solving techniques.\nExposure toversion control systems such as Git or similar tools.\nStrong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.\nPreferred Education and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\n0-2 years of relevant experience in embedded software development, firmware development, or related engineering disciplines.\nExposure tofirmware, embedded software, or low-level programming projects.\nFamiliarity with software testing, validation, or debugging methodologies.\nExperience working with embedded development tools, IDEs, or compilers.\nAcademic, internship, or personal project experience involving embedded systems, electronics, or software-hardwareintegration.\nKnowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting.\nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
