Learn more at www.analog.com and on LinkedIn and X.\nAs an Engineer, Field Applications (New College Graduate), you will be placed in a twelve-to-twenty-four-month developmental rotation program that offers real-world experience learning about ADI’s technologies, customer support, and opportunity generation - providing an excellent foundation for technical expertise and soft skills growth. Participants will gain exposure to the broad portfolio of ADI technologies before eventually focusing primarily on power management and automotive battery management systems solutions while building customer engagement skills, and business acumen. During the program, you will go through a progressive curriculum where you will receive professional development opportunities and mentorship before integrating into the worldwide sales team and deploying to your target market.\nA sampling of some of the skills you will develop:\nDeep understanding of power regulation, high voltage power needs, and battery management \nCircuit analysis, debug, and design (both PCB schematic and layout) \nSystems thinking and analysis \nTechnical communication skills with engineering and non-engineering audiences \nProposing technical solutions for both circuit- and system-level challenges \nPrototype development including hardware and software \nDeveloping and maintaining professional relationships - both internal and external \nResponsibilities include (but not limited to):\nDesign technical system proposals to meet customer requirements for power management \nCollaborating with ADI’s engineering, marketing, and sales teams to drive customer solutions \nAssisting in the evaluation and design of customer systems - hardware and software \nTroubleshooting customer hardware and software/firmware performance issues \nUnderstanding and disseminating customer technical requirements and market trends \nContributing to internal product development strategy and product definitions \nServing as trusted technical advisor to customer engineering and management teams \nQualifications\nBSEE or equivalent required \nBasic understanding of electronic schematics, layout, and components required \nFoundation of software fundamentals required \nExperience debugging hardware and software using basic lab equipment required \nRelocation to Southeastern Michigan at completion of the rotational program required \nThe ideal candidate will have:\nKnowledge and understanding of power regulation design principles \nExperience with lab measurement and soldering equipment \nGood organizational skills and ability to multi-task and set priorities \nSolid communication skills along with comfort presenting technical topics \nWillingness to travel domestically or internationally (~10% of the time) \nExcellent problem solving, analytical, and debugging skills \nSelf-motivation and capability to work autonomously \nAgility and desire for continuous learning \nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
