This early-career role will support factory performance improvement initiatives across multiple wafer fabrication sites through capacity modeling, data analytics, reporting automation, cycle time reduction, and scheduling optimization. Working alongside experienced Industrial Engineers at local facilities, this position will contribute to the development of cross-site analytical tools and decision-support systems that maximize factory output and enable future expansion planning.\nResponsibilities\nSupport development and maintenance of cross-site capacity models, factory loadings, and utilization analyses.\nAssist with cycle time improvement initiatives through bottleneck analysis, WIP management, and line balancing activities.\nAnalyze factory performance data and identify opportunities to increase throughput, productivity, and equipment utilization.\nDevelop and automate reports, dashboards, and analytical tools using SQL, Python, Power BI, and other business intelligence tools.\nSupport validation of manufacturing scheduling data, forecasting models, and factory planning assumptions.\nParticipate in scenario analysis and what-if modeling to evaluate capacity, output, and resource requirements.\nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, IT, and Equipment Engineering to support improvement projects.\nDocument methodologies, analytical models, and standard work processes.\nPresent findings and recommendations to technical and operations teams.\nBuild knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing systems, Industrial Engineering methodologies, and factory scheduling concepts.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Data Analytics, or related engineering discipline.\nPreferred Qualifications\nInternship, co-op, or academic project experience in manufacturing, operations research, data analytics, or process optimization.\nFamiliarity with SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical tools.\nCoursework in statistics, simulation, optimization, data science, or manufacturing systems.\nExposure to semiconductor manufacturing or other high-volume manufacturing environments.\nWork Experience\n0-2 years of Industrial Engineering or analytical experience.\nDemonstrated ability to work with large datasets and perform quantitative analysis.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work effectively within geographically distributed teams.\nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
