Learn more at www.analog.com and on LinkedIn and X.\nPosition Summary\nThe Buyer is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted material availability to support semiconductor manufacturing operations through effective execution of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) in SAP, procurement of MRO materials, supplier management, and inventory optimization. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Stores, and Suppliers to proactively manage supply risks, expedite critical materials, and minimize manufacturing downtime.\nThis position requires flexibility in working hours to allow for communication and team participation with Global ADI Procurement Team. Buyer acts as point of contact for Procurement related assistance for our offices across ADI.\nKey Responsibilities\nReview and execute MRP to ensure timely replenishment of production and maintenance materials.\nAnalyze demand, inventory levels, lead times, and supplier commitments to determine procurement actions.\nManage purchase order creation, maintenance, reschedules, cancellations, and quantity adjustments.\nMonitor shortages and proactively mitigate supply risks impacting manufacturing operations and drive improved inventory health.\nCollaborate with Planning, Category management and Operations teams on demand changes and supply recovery plans.\nManage procurement activities for repair and serviceable parts used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.\nPrioritize and expedite critical tool-down requirements to minimize manufacturing downtime.\nCoordinate repair order processing, supplier repair status tracking, and return logistics.\nMonitor repair turnaround times (TAT) and drive continuous improvement with repair vendors.\nWork closely with Engineering, Equipment Maintenance, and Operations teams to support equipment reliability initiatives.\nMaintain visibility of open repair orders, aging repairs, and high-risk tool-down parts.\nBuild and maintain effective relationships with suppliers to ensure delivery performance and responsiveness.\nConduct regular supplier follow-up for acknowledgments, commitments, expedites, and recovery plans.\nResolve supply, quality, and invoice-related issues through cross-functional collaboration.\nSupport supplier performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.\nAssist with sourcing alternatives\nInventory & Cost Management\nMonitor excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions.\nSupport inventory optimization initiatives while maintaining service level requirements.\nParticipate in cost saving and productivity initiatives through process improvements and supplier engagement.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Stores, and Accounts Payable teams.\nCommunicate supply constraints, delivery risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.\nSupport site shutdowns, maintenance events & capacity expansions.\nParticipate in operational reviews and provide procurement metrics and status updates.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.\n1-4 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Materials Planning, or Manufacturing Operations.\nExperience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.\nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
