Learn more at www.analog.com and on LinkedIn and X.\nAnalog Devices is seeking a Field Robotics Systems Engineer to help develop, integrate, and demonstrate next-generation robotic systems and intelligent machines.\nAs part of the Robotics Systems and Platform team, you will work across robotics hardware, embedded software, perception, motion control, AI, and system integration to create proof-of-concepts (PoCs), demonstrations, and customer-facing solutions that showcase the value of ADI technology.\nWorking alongside experienced engineers and robotics experts, you will gain hands-on experience supporting customers from early technology evaluations through system integration and validation. This role provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world robotics challenges while contributing to innovative solutions spanning industrial robotics, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), humanoid robotics, and service robotics.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited t o:\nDesign, build, and integrate proof-of-concepts (PoCs), demonstrations, and reference systems for robotics applications. \nWork hands-on with robotic subsystems including sensing, perception, motion control, embedded computing, power systems, and AI-enabled technologies. \nSupport system bring-up, integration, testing, debugging, and validation across hardware and software domains. \nDevelop robotics applications using tools and frameworks such as Python, C/C++, ROS2, Linux, Isaac Sim, Gazebo, and CodeFusion Studio. \nCreate and evaluate robotic solutions in simulation and digital twin environments and support deployment to physical robotic platforms. \nCollaborate with customers, ecosystem partners, and internal ADI teams to develop system-level robotics solutions. \nSupport customer workshops, demonstrations, technical evaluations, and co-creation activities through ADI Catalyst and other innovation programs. \nParticipate in technical forums, industry events, and customer engagements to showcase ADI technologies. \nContribute to reusable platforms, reference designs, technical documentation, and demonstration assets that accelerate customer adoption. \nMinimum Qualifications\nB.S. in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering. \nAcademic, internship, research, or project experience building, integrating, or testing robotic systems or mechatronic platforms. \nFamiliarity with electronic hardware, schematics, and test equipment (scopes, logic analyzers) \nFoundational knowledge of robotics technologies, including one or more of the following: \nMotion control and actuation \nRobotic sensing and perception \nSensor fusion \nEmbedded and real-time systems \nAutonomous robotic systems \nExperience with robotics software development using Python and/or C/C++. \nFamiliarity with Linux and robotics frameworks such as ROS or ROS2. \nExperience with simulation tools such as Isaac Sim, Gazebo, RoboDK, or MATLAB/Simulink. \nExposure to AI/ML, computer vision, perception systems, or autonomous robotics through coursework, research, internships, or personal projects. \nStrong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. \nPreferred Qualifications\nM.S. in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering. \nExperience with advanced robotic systems such as industrial robots, AMRs, humanoids, collaborative robots, or robotic manipulation systems. \nExpertise in electronic hardware design, testing, and troubleshooting to the component level. \nExperience with perception technologies including computer vision, depth sensing, VSLAM, force/torque sensing, audio sensing, or multi-sensor fusion. \nFamiliarity with robotics compute platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson Nano, Orin NX, and Orin AGX. \nImplementation of AI/ML, Physical AI, robotic perception, or autonomous systems. \nExperience developing robotics demonstrations, capstone projects, research platforms, or proof-of-concepts. \nParticipation in robotics competitions, university design teams, research programs, or open-source robotics initiatives. \nInterest in customer engagement, technical workshops, and emerging robotics ecosystems. \nCore Technical Areas\nSuccessful candidates will have experience or interest in developing expertise in:\nRobotics Systems and Hardware \nRobotics Frameworks and Embedded Software \nSimulation and Digital Twin Tools \nMotion Control, Perception, and Sensor Fusion \nRobotics and Mechatronics Integration \nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
