As a placement student, you will have the opportunity to work with our talented teams of engineers on very challenging work assignments. You will play an integral part in the development of our products.\nTo be eligible for the placement program, you must be enrolled in your last of your degree (BSc or Masters). We prefer long internship (+6 months) to guarantee the most effective experience and learning.\nResponsibilities may include, but not limited to: \nFirmware and Software Development\n\nQualification of the Code\n\nBasic analog or digital design and verification\n\nDevelopment of demo and instrumentation boards\n\nMetrology and lab measurements\n\nDocumentation\n\nBenchmarking\n\nWhat is expected from you:\nDemonstration of strong problem-solving skills with analytical thinking\n\nAbility to debug issues systematically (analyse logs, isolate root cause)\n\nAbility to document work clearly and concisely\n\nProficiency in the use of AI tools\n\nOther valuable qualifications:\nPractical experience in embedded software development.\n\nUnderstanding of digital design basics (FSMs, timing, pipelining)\n\nKnowledge of analog design basics\n\nOperating experience with lab equipment\n\nBasic knowledge of computer architecture / microcontrollers\n\nExperience troubleshooting hardware/software interaction problems\n\nExperience writing scripts to automate tasks (data processing, testing, logs)\n\nExposure to simulation or scripting for testing (Python-based frameworks)\n\nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
