This role will lead high-impact initiatives focused on capacity modeling, factory scheduling, cycle time reduction, operations research, and productivity improvement across ADI's front-end manufacturing network. The successful candidate will drive development of cross-site analytical models, optimization tools, and data-driven decision systems that maximize factory output, support expansion planning, and establish standardized Industrial Engineering practices across multiple manufacturing sites.\nResponsibilities\nLead development of cross-site capacity models, utilization analyses, loading scenarios, and expansion planning studies.\nDrive cycle time reduction and WIP optimization initiatives through Factory Physics methodologies, bottleneck analysis, and constraint management.\nDevelop and maintain advanced analytical tools supporting factory scheduling, output optimization, and operational decision making.\nPerform operations research and statistical analyses to identify key output levers and productivity improvement opportunities.\nDesign and implement predictive models, optimization algorithms, and AI-enabled analytical solutions for manufacturing applications.\nLead validation and continuous improvement of scheduling logic, factory planning assumptions, and manufacturing data structures.\nEstablish standard methodologies, governance processes, and best practices across multiple manufacturing sites.\nMentor junior Industrial Engineers and provide technical leadership on analytical projects.\nPartner with site leadership, operations teams, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and IT to drive strategic improvement initiatives.\nPresent recommendations, scenario analyses, and business cases to management and senior leadership.\nSupport development of long-range capacity plans and fab expansion scenarios.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related engineering discipline.\nProficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI, and statistical analysis tools.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, Analytics, or related field.\nSemiconductor wafer fabrication experience.\nExperience with Factory Physics, cycle time engineering, capacity planning, production scheduling, or manufacturing optimization.\nExperience with simulation, optimization modeling, machine learning, or operations research techniques.\nWork Experience\n3-5 years of Industrial Engineering experience in semiconductor manufacturing or other complex manufacturing environments.\nExperience building capacity models, productivity analyses, factory scheduling models, or optimization tools.\nDemonstrated success leading cross-functional improvement initiatives.\nStrong analytical, communication, and project leadership skills.\nExperience working with globally distributed teams is preferred.\nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
