The internship program features various lunch-and-learn topics and social events with other interns and full-time employees.\nAt ADI, our goal is to develop our interns so they are the first to be considered for full-time roles.\nApply now for the opportunity to grow your career and help innovate ahead of what’s possible.\nAbout the Role\nADI Global Operations & Technology is pursuing entry-level Process Sustaining Engineering Intern with an interest in working across multiple functional areas in the semiconductor fabrication process, which may include Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), Diffusion, Epitaxy, Implant, Photolithography, Wet Etch, and Dry Etch.\nAs a Process Sustaining Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers to support manufacturing operations, process optimization, yield improvement, and quality initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in semiconductor processing, data analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement within a high-volume manufacturing environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nSupport the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance yield, quality, cost, and cycle time. \nTroubleshoot process shifts and apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles to identify opportunities for improvement. \nAssist in optimizing manufacturing processes to reduce cost, maximize output, and improve consistency across equipment and tools. \nSupport the qualification of new equipment and manufacturing processes. \nAnalyze cycle time, equipment performance, and operational efficiency metrics. \nParticipate in root cause investigations and support quality improvement initiatives to address process and yield-related issues. \nPartner with Manufacturing Operations and Equipment Engineering teams to continuously improve factory performance. \nMust Have Skills\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills. \nAbility to manage multiple assignments and work both independently and collaboratively. \nWillingness to learn new systems, technologies, and manufacturing processes. \nAbility to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment. \nSelf-motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to learn in a dynamic manufacturing setting. \nStrong computer, analytical, and quantitative skills, including statistics. \nPreferred Education and Experience\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline. \nDemonstrated leadership experience through academic, extracurricular, internship, or project-related activities. \nExperience maintaining, troubleshooting, or upgrading laboratory or processing equipment through coursework, projects, research, or internships. \nFamiliarity with Visual Basic, Python, Java, or other programming languages. \nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
