As a Senior or Staff Frontend Software Engineer with architectural responsibilities, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance Web UI that integrates with Analog Devices’ innovative hardware and embedded systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that enable data-driven insights, device management, and seamless cloud-to-edge integration. Your primary responsibility will be the design and development of intuitive, responsive, and robust frontend applications, ensuring outstanding user experiences and seamless interaction with backend and embedded systems.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable frontend web applications for embedded and connected systems.\nDefine and lead frontend software architecture, ensuring alignment with product requirements and long-term platform strategy.\nCollaborate with backend, embedded software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to define APIs and software interfaces for seamless integration.\nDevelop user interfaces for device provisioning, telemetry visualization, data processing, and remote management, focusing on usability and accessibility.\nOptimize frontend applications for performance, scalability, responsiveness, and maintainability.\nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.\nParticipate in code reviews and architecture discussions to uphold high standards of software quality and UI/UX design.\nStay current with industry trends, emerging frontend technologies, and design patterns to continuously improve frontend and system architecture.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.\nExtensive experience in frontend software development using frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, Ember.js, or similar.\nProven experience designing and implementing scalable and maintainable frontend architectures for complex applications.\nProficiency with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript) and frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).\nExperience or working knowledge of integrating frontend applications with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and RESTful APIs.\nStrong understanding of web security, accessibility, and responsive design principles.\nExperience with state management, client-side routing, and data visualization libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router, D3.js).\nFamiliarity with Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nDemonstrated experience in software architecture and design patterns relevant to frontend development.\nNice to Have:\nExperience working with embedded systems or hardware-integrated software from the frontend perspective.\nFamiliarity with real-time data acquisition, edge computing, or IoT platforms and visualizing their data in web UIs.\nKnowledge of hardware communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.) and their representation in UI.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications and infrastructure as code.\nContributions to open-source frontend projects or active GitHub repositories.\nFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.\nExperience in using GenAI Tools for UI development and prototyping.\nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
