Learn more at www.analog.com and on LinkedIn and X.\nJob Description\nThe Senior Module Capacity & Material Planner is responsible for developing and executing capacity and material planning strategies to support module manufacturing operations across outsourced assembly and test (OSAT) partners. This role ensures alignment between customer demand, manufacturing capacity, material availability, and inventory positioning to achieve revenue, delivery, and operational objectives.\nThe successful candidate will drive supply-demand balancing, capacity optimization, material readiness, scenario analysis, and planning process improvements while partnering closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business Units, and external suppliers.\nKey Responsibilities\nCapacity Planning & Management\nDevelop short-, mid-, and long-term module capacity plans to support customer demand and business growth.\nAnalyze capacity utilization across assembly, test, and critical manufacturing resources.\nIdentify capacity bottlenecks and develop mitigation plans with internal factories and external manufacturing partners.\nDrive resource-level capacity management and loading strategies to maximize throughput and on-time delivery.\nSupport quarterly, annual, and strategic capacity planning exercises.\nMonitor capacity commitments versus demand forecasts and recommend corrective actions.\nMaterial Planning & Supply Management\nDevelop material plans for package substrates, leadframes, wafers, die, passive components, and other critical BOM materials.\nEnsure material availability supports production requirements while optimizing inventory levels.\nIdentify material shortages, excess inventory, and supply risks; lead recovery and mitigation actions.\nCoordinate closely with suppliers and procurement teams on material supply commitments and constraints.\nManage die bank and inventory visibility to support capacity loading decisions.\nDrive inventory health improvements through excess and obsolete reduction initiatives.\nDemand & Supply Alignment\nTranslate demand forecasts into executable production and material plans.\nBalance customer demand, capacity constraints, and material availability across multiple manufacturing sites.\nSupport allocation decisions during constrained supply situations.\nConduct supply-demand gap analysis and develop recovery scenarios.\nDrive planning reviews and communicate risks, opportunities, and recommended actions to stakeholders.\nAnalytics & Reporting\nCreate and maintain planning dashboards, KPIs, and management reports.\nPerform scenario modeling and what-if analysis for demand changes, capacity expansions, and supply disruptions.\nDevelop data-driven recommendations to improve equipment utilization, inventory turns, service levels, and operational efficiency.\nMonitor planning performance metrics including:Capacity utilization\nOn-time delivery\nMaterial coverage\nInventory health\nForecast accuracy\nSupply-demand gap closure\n\nCross-Functional Leadership\nPartner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, Business Units, Quality, and Logistics to resolve supply chain issues.\nLead planning discussions with OSATs, subcontractors, and key suppliers.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives for planning systems, tools, and processes.\nMentor junior planners and contribute to planning best practices.\nQualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, or related field.\nMaster's degree preferred.\nExperience\n5+ years of planning experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or high-tech industries.\n3+ years in capacity planning, material planning, supply planning, or production planning.\nExperience supporting outsourced manufacturing and OSAT environments.\nExperience managing complex BOMs such as module and multi-site manufacturing networks.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong understanding of semiconductor assembly, test, and module manufacturing processes.\nExpertise in supply-demand planning methodologies.\nExperience with ERP and planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, Blue Yonder/JDA, Kinaxis, or equivalent.\nAdvanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, and data analytics capabilities.\nStrong quantitative modeling and scenario-analysis skills.\nLeadership & Soft Skills\nExceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to influence across functions without direct authority.\nProven capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong business acumen with focus on revenue, customer commitments, and operational execution.\nPreferred Qualifications\nSemiconductor packaging, advanced packaging, or module manufacturing experience.\nKnowledge of wafer planning, die banking, assembly/test capacity planning, and supplier management.\nExperience supporting global manufacturing operations across Asia, Europe, and North America.\nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
