Learn more at www.analog.com and on LinkedIn and X.\nPosition: Senior Product Application Engineer\nLocation: Beijing, China\nRole Summary\nWe are looking for a Senior or Staff Product Application Engineer to support China BU OCP products across the full lifecycle, from product definition and application design to customer enablement and production release.\nIn this role, you will apply strong application- and system-level understanding to bridge IC design, marketing/system teams, and customers, ensuring products are designed, positioned, and adopted successfully in real systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop system- and application-level understanding of products, including customer use cases, performance trade-offs, and system constraints.\nTranslate customer application requirements into product definition inputs, electrical specifications, and usage guidelines.\nCollaborate with IC design, marketing/system, and validation teams during product development and release.\nAnalyze silicon characterization and validation data and contribute to datasheet specifications and application recommendations.\nDevelop application schematics and reference designs, and review PCB schematic and layout from an application perspective.\nSupport customer design-in activities and resolve application issues through lab evaluation and structured debugging.\nCreate application notes, user guides, reference code, and evaluation materials to support customers, FAEs, and sales teams.\nParticipate in customer meetings and on-site support, providing technical input and collecting feedback for future products.\nQualifications\nMSEE or above in Electrical Engineering or a related field.\nStrong background in signal-chain and mixed-signal systems (e.g. ADC, DAC, amplifiers, TIA, PGA).\nSolid understanding of IC behavior in system-level applications, including performance trade-offs and limitations.\nExperience with PCB schematic design and layout, and the ability to review board designs at the application level.\nProgramming experience in LabVIEW, Python, and/or C/C++ for lab automation, data analysis, or reference code.\nStrong problem-solving skills and effective communication across customers and cross-functional teams.\nNice to have: Experience with robotics motor control applications, including embedded control of actuators involving motors, sensing feedback, and real-time interaction between hardware and firmware.\nGood written and verbal communication skills in English.\nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
