The role focuses on integrating and supporting test automation infrastructure and continuous integration systems.\nResponsibilities:\nGather and define stakeholder Test Automation requirements\nDefine project plans for implementing and installing Test Solution application for new and legacy projects\nIdentify how to integrate into existing CICD systems or recommend implementation of the QSS standard CICD pipeline to support Test Automation \nCoordinate with other infrastructure teams to design and configure virtual systems for build and test environments\nTroubleshoot issues and solve problems with Test Automation infrastructure, build systems as needed\nAssist with configuring and setting up common relational database environments \nSupport training teams on the use of QSS Test Solution frameworks \nAssist with integration of Test Solution applications. \nAdministering Linux operating systems\nSupport integration of CI test pipelines\nInstall and support code coverage tools to capture quality of test automation coverage \nMay also include assisting with development of test automation infrastructure\nServe as a champion for advancing Test Automation best practices and new methodologies within the organization\nMinimum Qualifications/skills:\n3 to 5 years of relative experience within software tests with at least 1 of those years in a Project Management related role\nA University master’s degree in computer engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field is required. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and equivalent professional experience in the sector will also be considered\nOperations Project Management background \nBackground in managing test automation environments \nExperience in software development and testing of code\nStrong expertise in DevOps Agile CI/CD implementation\nExperience with building infrastructure and tools such as GCOV/GCC, Coverity, Git/Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jira, Visual Studios, etc.\nExperience with relational databases, such as SQL or PostgreSQL\nExperience with developing and deploying Github actions\nExperience with maintaining various scripting languages to build software from scratch, test, and deploy it for a specific use case\nExperience with container technologies like Docker\nExperience with Linux and cross-platform development\nExperience with Python and bash scripting\nExperience with C, C++ and Shell Scripting\nExcellent analytical skills\nPreferred Qualifications:\n7+ Years of DevOps experience in managing test infrastructure and with 2 of the years in Project Management\nProject Management skills\nExposure to embedded software product development with test background\nExperience with Agile methodology\nExperience with C#, Python and Java\nExperience with non-relational databases such as MongoDB\nExperience with time series databases, such as InfluxDB\nExperience with visualization tooling, such as Grafana\nMaintenance of Docker/Container clusters\nKnowledge of hybrid cloud environments\nKnowledge of OpenShift and CloudSmith highly desirable\nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
