Learn more at www.analog.com and on LinkedIn and X.\nAnalog Devices is seeking a Staff Equipment Engineer as a senior technical contributor responsible for engineering ownership, reliability, and continuous improvement of Photolithography equipment in Wilmington, Massachusetts. This role provides technical leadership in equipment qualification, line sustainability, productivity improvement and cost improvement; while mentoring engineers and technicians in support of continuous operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\n· Act as equipment owner for assigned manufacturing tools in photolithography, ensuring availability, reliability, safety, and performance.\n· Lead line-sustaining activities including troubleshooting, containment, and permanent corrective actions for chronic and high-impact equipment issues.\n· Drive Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) improvement initiatives through systematic downtime analysis.\n· Plan, execute, and validate preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, ensuring effectiveness and compliance.\n· Lead equipment qualification, buy-off, and transfer activities for new, relocated, or upgraded manufacturing tools.\n· Review and approve equipment modifications, change kits, and engineering changes to meet production, safety, and quality requirements.\n· Perform and lead root cause analysis (RCA) using structured methodologies (8D, FMEA, 5-Why) and ensure robust corrective actions.\n· Develop and maintain work instructions, control plans, and maintenance standards for manufacturing equipment.\n· Partner with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to support capacity expansion, yield improvement, and cost reduction initiatives.\n· Manage spare parts strategy, cost models, and supplier engagement to optimize maintenance cost and response time.\n· Provide technical mentoring and guidance to Equipment Engineers and technicians; act as SME or technical lead for a toolset or area.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n· US Citizenship\n· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.\n· 10+ Years experience in manufacturing equipment engineering within a semiconductor or electronics production environment.\n· Proven background in line-sustaining, equipment reliability, maintenance engineering and OEE improvement.\nPreferred Skills/Competencies:\n· Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to clearly communicate across multiple functionalities.\n· Experience with Nikon i14 steppers, TEL Tracks (MK5/MK7/ACT), UT1500 Steppers, vacuum ovens.\n· Semiconductor manufacturing environment or related high-volume clean-room manufacturing experience.\nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
