The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technician schedules, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and overseeing equipment maintenance activities. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. The applicant will understand and execute the key Business Objectives associated with the role under the headings of Safety, Quality, Output, and Value for Money.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTeam Management:\nManage technician holidays and shift coverage.\nConduct 1:1 reviews with team members.\nCarry out performance discussions.\nLiaise with the training coordinator to create and improve training plans for team members.\nMaintain training records and ensure compliance with STAR and other training requirements.\nConduct interviews for new technicians.\nSafety Management:\nServe as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).\nRespond to ERT alerts and safety concerns across the fab, subfab, and mezzanine.\nComplete incident reports.\nManage work permits, including approval and gas/fire sensor isolation.\nEquipment Maintenance:\nOversee fab equipment activities.\nAttend manufacturing bunker meetings and liaise with the production supervisor on equipment priorities.\nDocument shift handover reports.\nCoordinate maintenance work with external contractors and facilities groups.\nManage preventive maintenance (PM) task lists across workcentres.\nInitiate escalations and call-outs for critical equipment issues.\nScrap ownership, investigation, and diagnosis.\nWork closely with the Equipment Engineering & Days/Evenings Technicians to meet & exceed the Department & Site KPIs.\nPerformance Management:\nAchieve shift and departmental KPIs, including Shift Activity, MTTR, MTBF, Tool Availability, and Costs.\nManage cover and overtime budgets.\nManage daily on-shift activities, prioritize and allocate resources effectively for PMs and UMs.\nRequired Skills & Competencies:\nA strong base knowledge of the complex activities and interactions involved across cleanroom operations.\nRecognised technical expertise.\nThe ability to influence reports in a positive and enthusiastic manner.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nDemonstrated problem-solving knowledge, skills, and execution.\nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
