Learn more at www.analog.com and on LinkedIn and X.\nThe Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading the day-to-day manufacturing operations of best-in-class manufacturing operations within a semiconductor production environment. This role ensures that production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and in compliance with safety, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements across multiple Work Centres. The successful candidate will supervise a team of Manufacturing Team Members (MTMs), support equipment and process performance, and drive continuous improvement across safety, people performance, quality, delivery and cost world class Fab.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupervise daily production activities across assigned manufacturing areas, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.\nLead, coach, and develop MTMs to achieve operational performance targets.\nMonitor work-in-progress, output, equipment availability, staffing levels, and material flow to identify and resolve bottlenecks.\nEnsure compliance with cleanroom protocols, EHS procedures, Good Manufacturing Practice expectations, ISO standards, and site operating procedures.\nDrive a strong safety culture by conducting Fab walks, reinforcing safe behaviors across the Fab, escalating hazards, and supporting incident investigations and corrective actions.\nWork closely with Equipment, Process and Facilities teams to support smooth production flow and rapid issue resolution to equipment escalations.\nReview production performance data, prepare shift handover, and communicate key updates during handovers and operational meetings.\nSupport root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement initiatives.\nPromote lean manufacturing, 6S, standard work, visual management, and waste reduction across the production area.\nManage attendance, training compliance, performance feedback, and escalation of employee relations matters in line with company procedures.\nKey Skills and Competencies\nStrong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and hold teams accountable.\nExcellent communication skills, including clear shift handovers, escalation updates, and cross-functional coordination.\nAbility to make sound decisions under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement practical corrective actions as required.\nGood understanding of production key performance indicators such as people, safety, quality, service and cost.\nAbility to manage competing priorities while maintaining focus on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications including Power-BI and comfortable using manufacturing systems and reporting tools would be advantageous.\nWorking Environment\nThis role is based in a semiconductor manufacturing Fab and will involve working in cleanroom-controlled manufacturing Fab where you will be required to be fully gowned in adherence to Analogs’ Cleanroom protocols. The Operations Shift Supervisor will be required to work a shift pattern aligned to a 24/7 Fab.\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nSafety performance, including proactive hazard identification and incident reduction.\nTeam training compliance, attendance management, and employee engagement.\nQuality performance, including reduction of defects, deviations, rework, and scrap.\nAchievement of daily and weekly production output targets across all Work Centres.\nSchedule adherence and effective management of work-in-progress.\nEffective shift handovers, escalation discipline, and communication accuracy.\nContribution to continuous improvement, productivity, and cost reduction initiatives.\nPersonal Attributes\nSafety-focused and quality-driven.\nCalm, decisive, and resilient under pressure.\nOrganized, disciplined, and capable of managing multiple priorities.\nCollaborative and comfortable working across functions and shifts is a key requirement of this role.\nProactive, improvement-oriented, and committed to operational excellence.\nFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
