As our products move from idea to things people actually use every day, we need someone who brings both the technical range and the judgment to make the right calls without needing to be told.\nWhat you'll be working on\nDesigning, developing, and maintaining advanced iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C\n\nWorking closely with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define, design, and ship new features\n\nKeeping performance, quality, and responsiveness high across the board\n\nFinding technical bottlenecks, troubleshooting issues, and fixing bugs effectively\n\nHelping maintain code quality, organization, scalability, and automation\n\nTaking part in code reviews and helping the team hold a high bar for development practices\n\nSharing what you know and helping other developers on the team grow\n\nImplementing and maintaining RESTful API integrations\n\nContributing to CI/CD pipelines and release management\n\nKeeping an eye on where mobile development is heading and bringing good ideas back to the team\n\nWhat makes this role different\nEngineering here is flat: no layers between you and the decision, no waiting on a chain of approvals to ship something good. You'll work in person in Abu Dhabi, alongside a small, genuinely international team, often a short walk from robots that are actually deployed and being tested. What you build will be felt immediately, by real users, on real products.\nSkills we need\nA bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field\n\n8 to 10 years of professional iOS development experience\n\nStrong Swift and Objective-C\n\nSolid understanding of iOS frameworks like UIKit, CoreData, and CoreAnimation\n\nExperience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning\n\nFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and backend service integration\n\nA real feel for Apple's design principles and interface guidelines\n\nGit and modern version control workflows\n\nExperience with performance and memory tuning tools like Instruments\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging instincts\n\nWhat we're not looking for\nThis isn't a role for someone who wants a spec handed to them and nothing more, or who'd rather manage the work than build it.
