The team goes beyond best-in-class IP and superior service.\n About the role\nThe Customer Support/Applications Engineer is a highly impactful and visible position at Analog Bits. This position interfaces with leading edge world-wide semiconductor design companies designing modern Fin-FET processes for various end-markets such as AI/ML, Automotive, Datacenter/Compute and consumer products. The individual in this role technically and collaboratively interacts with the Company’s customers’ most novel SoC designs using Analog Bits IP’s as their key differentiation. This position requires excellent technical, interpersonal, and time-management skills as the Applications Engineer is the liaison between Analog Bits engineering teams and our customers’ global design engineering teams who do work on time critical programs and who require support and attention.\nWhat you'll do\nApplications Engineering job duties include:\nSupport customers WW with the integration of IP’s by actively participating in Conference calls and provide prompt email support and follow-up.\nDebug customer reported usage and integration issues including provide detailed analysis documentation.\nSupport pre-sales activities by providing technical support and customized documentation.\nPerform some level of lab characterization of PLL, Sensors and IO IP Products.\nWork collaboratively with internal engineering groups to resolve customer issues.\nUse of EDA tools including Mentor S-Edit, AFS, Synopsys FineSim, HSPICE, Apache Totem, Keysight AMI.\nQA/Verification job duties include:\nVerification of SerDes, Clocking, Sensors and IO’s IP Products.\nUnderstand release procedures and perform QA Checklist of IP Products including scripting for automation.\nVerify performance and function using simulations, at the logic and transistor levels.\nCreate Verilog, .lib and LEF views for PLL, SENSOR, SERDES, IO’s.\nPerform GDSII checking to ensure the highest quality and consistency of all design views for final release to customers.\nMaintain customer release folders and archives, and foundry technology documents.\nWrite automation scripts using Python for QA Verification.\nQualifications\n2-3 years of experience working in an IP/EDA application support environment\nRequires excellent technical, interpersonal, and time-management skills\nExcellent team work and collaboration is required\nEducation\nMS required in electrical engineering or related field\nBase Salary Range\n$140,000.00 to $175,000.00, DOE\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity in our workforce.
