Analytica offers competitive compensation with opportunities for bonuses, employer paid health care, training and development funds, and 401k match.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as hands-on senior cloud and infrastructure architect responsible for the architecture, reliability, scalability, security, and performance of the AWS-based platform.\nDesign and govern AWS cloud architecture, including networking, compute, storage, identity and access management, encryption, monitoring, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.\nArchitect and oversee infrastructure supporting Databricks and PostgreSQL, including connectivity, security boundaries, scaling, availability, performance, and integration with AWS services.\nEstablish architectural patterns for data ingestion, processing, transformation, orchestration, and publication pipelines supporting analytics and AI/ML workloads.\nDefine and oversee MLOps architecture and pipelines supporting model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, versioning, and production operations.\nLead implementation and governance of Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation, to provide repeatable and auditable infrastructure deployments.\nEstablish CI/CD and DevSecOps patterns for infrastructure, data pipelines, and ML workloads.\nDefine platform standards for monitoring, observability, logging, alerting, capacity management, and incident troubleshooting.\nPartner with cybersecurity teams to incorporate federal security requirements into architecture and engineering decisions.\nDrive cloud cost and performance optimization, including resource utilization, workload sizing, storage, compute, and Databricks consumption.\nLead architectural reviews, technical trade studies, root-cause analysis, and remediation of complex production issues.\nDevelop and maintain architecture diagrams, infrastructure standards, technical decision records, deployment patterns, and operational documentation.\nProvide technical leadership and mentoring to cloud, DevSecOps, data engineering, and MLOps engineers.\nRequired Qualifications\n10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, systems architecture, DevOps, or related disciplines, including significant architecture-level responsibility.\nDeep hands-on AWS architecture experience designing and operating secure, highly available production environments.\nDemonstrated experience architecting infrastructure for enterprise data platforms, analytics, and/or AI/ML workloads.\nProduction experience managing data infrastructure, including Databricks or comparable Spark-based data platforms and Postgres SQL in cloud environments. Experience ensuring availability, performance, security, backup/recovery, and connectivity considerations.\nStrong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation. Experience designing and governing CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines for DataOps and MLOps requirements.\nExperience with MLOps architecture and operationalization of machine learning workloads.\nStrong knowledge of AWS cloud networking, IAM, encryption, secrets management, compute, storage, monitoring, and logging.\nExperience designing high availability, disaster recovery, observability, and operational resilience into production cloud platforms.\nDemonstrated ability to diagnose complex distributed-system and cloud infrastructure issues.\nAbility to communicate architectural decisions and technical tradeoffs to engineering, security, program, and government stakeholders.\nUS Citizen with an existing public trust or ability to secure a public trust clearance\nPreferred Qualifications\nCertifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Databricks Solution Architect preferred \nPrior experience operating in a DHS federal operating environment such as USCIS, CBP or ICE \nAbout Analytica:Analytica is a leading consulting and information technology solutions provider to public sector organizations supporting health, civilian, and national security missions.
