Because we were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, we measure our success in the impact of our service.\nPosition Summary\nANSER is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Analyst to support the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Industrial Base Policy (IBP). In this role, you will provide technical and strategic expertise to assess advanced manufacturing initiatives, support industrial base investments, and deliver data-driven recommendations that strengthen manufacturing capabilities and supply chain resilience.\nThis position may be based at ANSER Headquarters in Arlington, VA, the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA, or via telework within the National Capital Region.\n Day-to-Day Responsibilities\nServe as a technical and strategic advisor to Government customers on advanced manufacturing initiatives.\nEvaluate advanced manufacturing project proposals and provide data-driven recommendations on technical feasibility, funding strategies, and implementation approaches.\nAssess manufacturing capabilities, industrial base risks, and supply chain challenges to support investment decisions.\nDevelop acquisition documentation, technical analyses, briefings, and official correspondence in support of IBAS initiatives.\nMonitor project execution by tracking cost, schedule, and performance while providing oversight of contract awardees.\nManage project schedules, program data, and reporting requirements across multiple efforts.\nCoordinate with Government stakeholders, mission partners, and industry to deconflict activities and support program execution.\nRespond to Requests for Information (RFIs), taskers, and other executive-level inquiries.\nRepresent Government interests in meetings, document meeting minutes, and track action items.\nConduct outreach activities, site visits, and strategic communications in support of industrial base initiatives.\nPrepare clear, concise reports and presentations for senior leadership.\nCollaborate with geographically dispersed teams while maintaining high standards of professionalism and customer support.\n Required Qualifications\nActive SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance.\nBachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, systems engineering, or a related field. Equivalent military experience in a related specialty may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.\nMinimum of ten (10) years of experience in industrial manufacturing or research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E). Will consider five (5) years of experience with a master’s degree in a related field.\nDemonstrated experience with either manufacturing production site facilitation or product lifecycle management/engineering.\nDirect experience supporting hardware development or sustainment within a U.S. Military Service, Major Command, Office of the Secretary of War-level organization, or industrial organization (Defense Industrial Base experience preferred).\nPrior experience writing and presenting technical information.\nProven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.\n Preferred Qualifications\nStrong analytical, technical writing, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex topics to senior leaders.\nExperience supporting the Office of the Secretary of War or a comparable senior-level strategic staff organization.\nExperience with the Department of War acquisition lifecycle and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.\nExperience briefing and advising senior military leaders, including Flag and General Officers.\nKnowledge of systems engineering, scientific analysis, and program analysis methodologies applied to advanced manufacturing initiatives.\nExperience leading project implementation while managing cost, schedule, and performance objectives.\nProject Management Professional (PMP), Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), or equivalent professional certification.\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher with demonstrated process improvement experience.\nIndividual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to: business considerations, local market, internal equity, candidate qualifications such as skills, education and experience.
