(ANSER) is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Analyst to support the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Industrial Base Policy (IBP). The IBAS program is dedicated to ensuring that the Department of War is positioned to effectively address industrial base issues and support the National Security Innovation Base. In this key role, you will be part of a high-powered team that researches and analyzes strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities within the global defense industrial base, recommends relevant prototyping efforts, crafts relevant acquisition documents, evaluates proposed efforts for technical and programmatic feasibility, monitors program execution, conducts outreach efforts, and completes site visits and strategic communications operations as required.\nDay to Day Responsibilities:\nServing as a technical and strategic advisor to the Government customer.\nActively analyzing advanced manufacturing and expeditionary repair-related project proposals, providing data-driven recommendations on best courses of actions for implementation.\nEvaluating project feasibility, assessing technical capabilities, identifying potential funding sources, and developing implementation strategies for leadership.\nManaging schedules and data, coordinating and de-conflicting with mission partners, and providing consistent, detailed oversight of cost, schedule and performance for contract awardees.\nRepresent Government interests in both virtual and in-person meetings, where documentation of meeting minutes and action items.\nDrafting high-quality briefings, official correspondence, and analytical products in response to internal and external taskings, ensuring information flows seamlessly across a geographically dispersed team. \nRequired Qualifications:\nPossess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or other related field. Candidates with a Master's with 5+ years of relevant experience will be considered.\n10+ years of hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing or research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E).\nDemonstrated experience in either the facilitation of a manufacturing production site and / or product lifecycle management/engineering.\nDirect experience with hardware development or sustainment gained during employment within a U.S. Military Service, Major Command, OSW-level staff, or an industrial firm\nExpertise with modern office tools, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience operating within the Office of the Secretary of War (OSW) or a similar senior, strategic-level staff environment.\nExperience navigating the DoW acquisition lifecycle and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process to identify and mitigate industrial base risks.\nExpertise in applying sound scientific, program analysis, and systems engineering concepts and methodologies to solve complex advanced manufacturing technical and programmatic challenges.\nExperience leading the on-site implementation of relevant project plans and ensuring cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met.\nProfessional certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or a recognized equivalent.\nCertification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) with a track record of driving successful process improvement initiatives.\nIndividual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to: business considerations, local market, internal equity, candidate qualifications such as skills, education and experience.
