Because we were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, we measure our success in the impact of our service.\nPosition Summary\nANSER is seeking a Senior Systems Architect to support the development, maintenance, and evolution of enterprise and solution architectures across the GEOINT enterprise, including the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) and Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG). You will guide architecture development efforts supporting applications, APIs, data services, and infrastructure services while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and mission requirements. You will support Government stakeholders in evaluating architecture options, conducting trade-off analyses, and aligning technical solutions with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and mentorship to mid- and junior-level architects while ensuring compliance with DoDAF and IC architecture guidance.\nDay-to-Day Responsibilities\nSupport and guide Mid- and Junior-level Systems Architects in enterprise and solution architecture development activities.Assist in the design, development, maintenance, and documentation of solution architectures aligned with enterprise architecture standards.\nEnsure architecture artifacts are traceable to enterprise requirements and mission objectives.\nAnalyze user requirements, system capabilities, and workflow processes to improve system design and efficiency.\nSupport evaluation and modernization of existing systems and architecture solutions.\nDevelop and refine solution architecture designs across applications, APIs, data services, and infrastructure services.\nRecommend architecture improvements based on requirements analysis and emerging technologies.\nSupport compliance with DoDAF and IC Program Architecture Guidance (PAG) standards.\nParticipate in enterprise architecture trade studies and technical assessments.\nSupport alignment of architecture solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.\nAssist Government stakeholders with architecture decision-making and technical planning.\nContribute to enterprise architecture documentation and governance processes.\nSupport integration of architecture across multiple programs and mission domains.\nCollaborate with engineering, integration, and systems teams to ensure architectural alignment.\n• Mentor junior architecture staff and support knowledge sharing across teams.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nActive TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI eligibility and successfully pass a polygraph.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Engineering Management, Management Information Systems, or related STEM field. Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirements.\n12+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, DoDAF, or IC Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).\nPrevious NGA and/or NSG/ASG program or project experience.\nPrevious Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) program or project experience.\nExperience supporting enterprise or solution architecture development in complex environments.\nStrong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and principles.\nExperience supporting cloud, hybrid, and on-premises architectures.\nExperience participating in architecture analysis, design, or governance activities.\n• Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in a STEM-related field.Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) processes, tools, and languages.\nCertified Enterprise Architect credential (e.g., National Defense University Enterprise Architecture Certification).\nExperience applying DoDAF and IC Program Architecture Guidance (PAG).\nExperience supporting GEOINT Enterprise Architecture (GEA) initiatives.\nExperience conducting architecture trade-off analysis and decision support.\n• Exposure to enterprise modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.\n\nIn compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), if you have a disability and would like to request an accommodation in order to apply for a position with ANSER, please call 703-416-2000 or e-mail \nANSER is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
