development, integration, and enhancement of enterprise commodity trading and risk management applications.\nRole SummaryThe Principal Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex technical solutions within Openlink Endur, ensuring system performance, scalability, reliability, and integration with enterprise applications.\nThe successful candidate will provide technical leadership, establish development standards, resolve complex technical challenges, and collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders across Front, Middle, and Back Office operations.\nKey ResponsibilitiesLead technical design, development, customisation, and implementation of Openlink Endur CTRM/ETRM solutions.\n\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain custom components, scripts, interfaces, and reports using AVS, JVS, Open Components (Java/.NET), and SQL.\n\nDevelop scalable technical solutions to support physical and financial commodity trading, risk management, scheduling, settlement, and accounting processes.\n\nDesign and implement system integrations between Endur and external applications, including SAP, Oracle ERP, market data providers, and enterprise reporting systems.\n\nPerform technical analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and optimisation of Endur applications and database processes.\n\nLead code reviews, enforce software development standards, and ensure application quality, security, and maintainability.\n\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and other technical team members.\n\nParticipate in the complete software development lifecycle, including solution architecture, technical specifications, development, unit testing, system integration testing, deployment, and production support.\n\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, deployment procedures, and system configuration records.\n\nSupport system upgrades, data migration, application enhancements, and production issue resolution.\n\nCollaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.\n\nEvaluate technical risks, recommend improvements, and contribute to continuous enhancement of development methodologies and system architecture.\n\nEssential Qualifications and Experience\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline.\n\nMinimum 10 years of professional experience in software development, including substantial hands-on experience with CTRM/ETRM systems.\n\nStrong hands-on development experience with Openlink Endur is essential.\n\nProven experience developing Endur customisations using AVS, JVS, Open Components (Java/.NET), and SQL.\n\nStrong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, database design, and enterprise application integration.\n\nExperience developing and supporting interfaces, workflows, reporting solutions, and custom business logic within Endur.\n\nSound understanding of physical and financial commodity trading processes across Oil, LNG, Gas, Power, Agricultural Commodities, or Coal.\n\nExperience with SQL database development, query optimisation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.\n\nProven ability to investigate and resolve complex technical issues in enterprise production environments.\n\nExperience with source control, software testing, release management, and deployment procedures.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.\n\nAbility to work independently, lead technical development activities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\n\nPreferred:\nExposure to client environments in Asia, Europe, Middle East, or Africa.\nExperience in vendor evaluation, business process mapping, or
