The ideal candidate will be a multidisciplinary engineer with a software engineering background and a creative “figure it out” personality to help advance the state-of-the-art and ensure high availability of our mission critical system. The position requires understanding of cloud technologies, networking, and security in a government setting. Candidate will interface daily with key government personnel and stakeholders at all levels, ensure taskings are completed, and ensure overall delivery excellence.\nThis position will eventually be on site with our customer in Huntsville, Alabama. The selected candidate will work remotely until space is ready. Applicants who do not currently reside within commuting distance to Huntsville should describe how they would satisfy this requirement.\nThis position requires an existing Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI accesses with a polygraph.\nRequired Qualifications:\nB.S. in Computer Science or related field, plus 7 years of relevant experience with software and/or system development in high demand production environment.\nUnderstanding of software engineering best practices · Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices and tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to support consistent, repeatable, and secure deployment of mission-critical systems\nExperience supporting and maintaining application codebases deployed across hybrid architectures (cloud and on-prem), with familiarity in network virtualization technologies.\nFamiliarity with cloud solutions in federal environments\nExperience with Golang, Post Gres, Python, NodeJS, Rust, and/or Java Script.\nExperience with basic scripting\nExperience conducting code reviews (G, Kotlin, Java) and test plan reviews\nExperience designing, implementing, and integrating APIs using modern communication protocols (e.g., REST, gRPC)\nExperience troubleshooting issues and working with team to resolve\nAbility to collaborate in system design, requirements analysis, and work product review to ensure sound technical solutions\nAbility to create plans to ensure that necessary maintenance to support system health is performed regularly.\nAbility to perform system level design and configuration of products including determination of cloud computer unit, operating system, and other platform specs\nUnderstanding of cybersecurity best practices\nOutstanding written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to operate successfully onsite with our customer and team in a fast pasted operational environment\nAn existing Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI accesses with a polygraph\nPreferred Qualifications:\nKnowledge of VoIP architectures, signaling protocols, and configuration of provider services (e.g., Vonage)\nProficiency with Twilio APIs and associated documentation\nExperience in
