Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off­ the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.\nRequired Qualifications:\n Clearance: U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance and a Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) completed within the last two (2) years.\nLocation: Full time on-site in Hanover, Maryland.\n Experience and knowledge:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in software engineering, software development, and application programming supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), or Federal Government programs.\nDemonstrated expertise in Python, C, or C++, with the ability to design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot complex enterprise software applications.\nExperience developing software for Windows and UNIX/Linux operating environments, including shell scripting, system automation, and operating system integration\nPractical experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and DevSecOps automation using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Bamboo, or comparable technologies.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
