This role will develop baseline and target architectures for production environments, ensuring that technology standards and frameworks align with the organization’s overall business and technical strategy. The Enterprise Architect will evaluate existing and proposed architectures, identify design gaps, and recommend improvements that enhance system stability, interoperability, portability, scalability, and long-term performance.\nDaily duties include, but are not limited to:\nDesigning, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level systems and processes.\nAligning enterprise architecture standards, frameworks, and solutions with business objectives and technology strategy.\nEvaluating existing and proposed system architectures to identify design gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.\nRecommending architectural changes and enhancements to improve stability, interoperability, portability, scalability, and performance.\nCollaborating with business, technical, security, and program stakeholders to translate mission needs into architectural solutions.\nEstablishing and maintaining architecture principles, standards, models, roadmaps, and technical documentation.\nSupporting modernization, integration, cloud migration, and technology transformation initiatives. Providing technical guidance and architectural recommendations throughout the system development lifecycle.\nThis position requires a Top-Secret clearance.\nThis position is on-site in Washington DC with no remote option.\nRequired Qualifications:\n10+ years of documented and demonstrated experience in Backend Developer, Full Stack Developer, or Java Developer roles, including enterprise application design and delivery.\nExperience designing, developing, testing, and deploying backend services, APIs, and front-end applications using Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Go, and/or .NET, including Java development using current Java Development Kit versions.\nExperience with PostgreSQL database architecture, schema design, SQL development, and performance tuning.\nExperience implementing application frameworks and technologies such as Spring/Spring Boot, Node.js, NestJS, Gin, Angular, React, Next.js, Google Web Toolkit, Hibernate, and Struts.\nExperience defining enterprise solution architectures and system designs, applying software design patterns, identifying antipatterns, and assessing security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.\nExperience designing front-end, backend, and API solutions, including integration across enterprise applications and data platforms.\nExperience leading multiple development teams through technical design, implementation, and delivery.\nExperience with software development lifecycle processes, including SAFe Agile, and development and delivery tools such as Git, Nexus, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence, Crucible, Jenkins, Ansible, and Ansible Tower.\nExperience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical, functional, and performance issues in cloud environments.\nExperience designing, planning, and managing data migrations, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and cutover.\nHas an active TS clearance and can work onsite in DC.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nRelevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or SAFe Architect\nExperience with XTS and its integration into enterprise
