Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help develop reliable, efficient, and high-performing software while ensuring compliance with industry standards and aviation regulations.\nKey Tasks:\nFlight Control Software: Design, develop, implement, and test model-based flight control software to enable new aircraft capabilities and enhance system performance.\nSimulation & Validation: Verify and validate newly implemented features using a comprehensive simulation framework to ensure reliability, safety, and performance.\nDocumentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and training materials describing flight control logic, software architecture, and system behavior.\nAutonomy: Design and implement safe, reliable autonomous flight sequences that meet customer requirements and comply with the latest aviation safety standards and regulations.\nCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including systems, avionics, flight operations, and design engineers, to develop innovative features and continuously improve our unmanned helicopter platforms.\nContinuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and evolving safety regulations, incorporating best practices into software development processes.\nYour profile\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.\n Experience: Proven experience with model-based development, preferably in the aviation or aerospace industry. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and best practices is required.\nExperience programming in C or a similar language is an advantage. \nExperience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing is a plus.\nSkills: Strong expertise in model-based development using Simulink or similar tools. Solid understanding of flight dynamics. Ability to design and execute comprehensive test programs, from unit testing through to system-level validation. Excellent technical communication and documentation skills.\nLanguage: Professional proficiency in English is required.
