Due to expansion, they are looking for two Mechanical Design Engineers to join their Technical Office.\n\nJob Description\nDesign electrical panel enclosures, sheet metal parts, and mounting and support structures using SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Inventor.\n\nPrepare detailed fabrication drawings, flat patterns and bills of materials (BOMs) for production release.\n\nEnsure designs meet IP/IK protection ratings, ventilation and heat dissipation, and mechanical strength requirements.\n\nApply sheet metal design-for-manufacturing principles: bend allowances, K-factors, tolerances, nesting and material optimization.\n\nCoordinate with the Electrical Design team to integrate component layouts, busbars and wiring space into the enclosure design.\n\nSupport the production floor with design clarifications and resolve fabrication issues quickly.\n\nUpdate drawings according to client and consultant comments and engineering changes.\n\nMaintain the design library, standard parts and drawing templates.\n\nContribute to cost reduction and standardization of the product range.\n\nRequirements\n\nB.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (Design & Production or Production preferred).\n\n3+ years of mechanical design experience in electrical panels / enclosures, or in any sheet metal industry, such as HVAC equipment, home appliances, metal cabinets and furniture, elevators, generator canopies, cable trays or vehicle bodies.\n\nStrong command of SolidWorks (Sheet Metal module) is a must.
