Member of Custody Operations, Digital Assets

As a Member of Custody Operations, Digital Assets, you are responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations that the company processes in support of clients' daily activities. In this role, you are responsible for ensuring an excellent operational experience by reviewing client transactions and instructions in a timely manner, providing attentive care to our clients, and managing their transactions in a risk-conscious way. You will become intimately familiar with the operations of our clients and their use of our platform, anticipate their needs, and serve as an advocate for them internally in partnership with Client Experience teams. You will have a full understanding of the custody operations of the firm, as well as the regulatory and operational considerations at each step. You support client interactions across multiple teams and work closely with your Client Operations teammates to ensure processes and procedures are developed and continuously refined.

In this role, you will:

• Service institutional clients by managing operational tasks, developing and executing operational processes in support of our clients' needs, and performing transaction reviews and approvals.

• Develop familiarity with all of our product and service offerings, gaining a deep understanding of product features and supported cryptocurrencies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Client Experience, Sales, Compliance, and Product, to develop operational solutions for complex client requests.

• Participate in regular evening and weekend on-call rotations.

Technical Skills:

• Experience: Supporting operational needs of institutional clients in a financial services setting, with familiarity with US Anti-Money Laundering (“AML”) requirements.

• Industry Knowledge: Maintain a working understanding of how institutional clients (e.g., VCs, Sovereign Wealth Funds, PE firms) operate in the crypto custody space.

• Traditional Finance Context: Maintain an understanding of traditional financial services, products, and strategies as required to support Anchorage Digital clients and their specific strategic goals.

• Crypto Ecosystem Awareness: Maintain a basic understanding of the crypto industry landscape, tokens/protocols, and key operational verticals (e.g., staking, governance).

• Technical Aptitude: Ability to quickly navigate and learn software systems and tools such as Salesforce, Jira, and Looker.

• Operational Execution: Ability to execute end-to-end processing of client operations for institutional clients, including receiving, verifying, and reviewing transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

• You have 2-4 years of professional experience in financial services and/or the digital assets industry.

• You have experience supporting institutional client operations within financial services or another heavily regulated industry.

• You are familiar with traditional financial services, products, and strategies, allowing you to provide thoughtful, high-touch support to institutional clients.

• You have experience supporting clients across multiple channels, including chat, text, telephone, email, and video conferencing.

• You bring foundational knowledge of-or a strong interest in-blockchain, crypto-economics, and security engineering.

• You have a proven ability to adapt and learn quickly as business strategies evolve and new products are introduced.

Although not a requirement, bonus points if:

• You have experience using operational and compliance tools such as TRM, Notabene, or Jira.
