Do you want to be the backbone that keeps business-critical systems running smoothly and securely?Then welcome to AND-E.\nHow you'll make an impact\nTaking responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of our hybrid server landscape, with a focus on on-premise platforms complemented by Microsoft Azure.\nPlanning regular system maintenance and carrying it out yourself, so our systems stay stable and available.\nAnalysing technical issues across our infrastructure systems, getting to their root cause and making sure they are resolved for good.\nDeveloping security policies and procedures to protect our IT infrastructure and putting them into practice in daily operations.\nWorking closely with vendors and external service providers to fix technical issues and implement new solutions together.\nManaging and monitoring our infrastructure systems on an ongoing basis, making sure they keep meeting the requirements of the business.\nWhat it takes to succeed in this role\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Continuity Management, or equivalent experience.\nFive years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering or IT operations.\nProven experience in operating and administering highly available, business-critical on-premise infrastructure.\nIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments, covering everything from installation and configuration to administration and troubleshooting.\nHands-on experience with server virtualization, ideally with VMware vSphere/ESXi. Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments is a plus.\nGood communication skills in English.
