You'llwork across the organisation to shape what gets built, own it through delivery, and stay with it into production - making sure it meets our quality bar, matches what clients actually need, and moves the business forward.\nYou sit in the Technical Delivery Team and connect Development, Core Banking, Infrastructure, Data and QA, as well as collaborating cross-functionally throughout the organisation - turning requirements into delivered, tested, documented, live software.\nJob Description:\nEnd-to-end project delivery- Work with business functions to shape business cases, then analyse them ahead of the prioritisation forum. Take a requirement from Product and Solutions through to production: break it down into technical tasks on the backlog, stand up and lead the project team, run agile delivery through development, QA and UAT, handle change management, deliver. Projects span product enhancements, regulatory builds, data and reporting, and technical enhancements. \nClient integrations- Own client technical onboarding end to end:pre-implementation consultation, integration plan, service-by-service delivery and testing, post-go-live support. You'llwalk clients through pre-production tests, validatethe edge cases that actually breakthings, and sign integrations off against our go-live criteria. Typically2-4 clients integrating concurrently.\nOperations and data- Keep the middleware and core banking system improving week on week. Own the reporting backlog and keep regulatory reporting accurate. Lead the detailed analysis on new third-party provider integrations and stay current with the ones we already run. Diagnose live issues across HTTP, JSON payloads, signature validation, idempotency and async webhook flows - reproduce in sandbox, isolate root cause, and either fix it or hand engineering a clean reproduction.\nEnablement- Technical documentation on the developer portal, Postman collections, and internal documentation that'sactually usable. Act as technical advisor to internal and external stakeholders and keep an eye on where the industry and our competitors are going.\n\nWhat we'relooking for\nMust have\n2+ years in payments or banking, in a technical product owner, technical delivery, or technical project management role.\nA development background- you'vewritten and shipped production code at some point in your career. You won'tbe writing it here, but you need to read it, debug issues, and sit in a design discussion as a peer. \nYou'vetakenprojects from requirement to productionwith a cross-functional team and can talk through one that went badly as well as one that went well.\n\nAPI fluency- you can read and critique an OpenAPIspec, you're at home in Postman and curl, and you understand REST semantics, JSON, HTTP, auth patterns (OAuth 2.0, mTLS), idempotency, webhooks, async versus sync, retries and error contracts well enough to argue about them.\nYou can debug -comfortable in the Azure Portal and Application Insights, able to trace a request end to end from a correlation ID, reproduce a client issue in a sandbox, and read (not necessarily write) KQL.\nYou'vebeenthe technical face to a client's engineering team- consultation, integration planning, the awkward post-go-live call. Clear communicator, organised, and able to hold a line on expectations without the relationship going sideways.\nWorking knowledge of the regulatory landscape- some real exposure to SEPA, SCA, AML/KYC, or payments regulation generally. You don'tneed all of it; you need to have lived some of it.\nFluent English, and a degree in Computer Science, ITor a related field - or the equivalent in practical experience.\nBonus\nSEPA schemes in depth (SCT, SCT Inst, SDD) \nISO 20022 \nVerification of Payee / Confirmation of Payee \nSWIFT correspondent banking \nCard issuing and processing \nSQL and Power BI \nAzure Service Bus and event-driven patterns \nExperience under MFSA or FCA supervision \nCore banking system implementation.\nHow we work, and what we expect\nFour things matter here more than anything on your CV:\nIntegrity first.You flag the problem early, including when it'syours, and especially when it'sinconvenient.\nA drive to learn.Payments is deep and we'reacross most of it.
