This role blends deep technical expertise with strong business alignment, delivering scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions that enable operational excellence and long-term business growth.\nThe Network Solutions Architect will build strong internal partnerships and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing and other technical stakeholders, to identify opportunities, define solution strategies, and drive measurable value through innovative network designs. This role will also evaluate project requests, consult with business and technical users, and produce clear, structured technical analysis and documentation to support enterprise initiatives and informed decision-making.\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES\nArchitect and implement enterprise network solutions including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, VPN, and cloud connectivity.\n\nLead network modernization efforts and support hybrid & multi-cloud environments.\n\nCollaborate with different teams to identify new client opportunities and create new modern strategies.\n\nConduct detailed discovery sessions to understand client needs and recommend tailored solutions.\n\nDesign high-level network architecture build BOMs and SOWs, and present solutions to stakeholders.\n\nMaintain a portfolio of relevant technologies and proactively drive interest and adoption.\n\nGain working knowledge of strategic partner portfolios and tools to support solution development.\n\nParticipate in peer reviews, kickoff meetings, and provide consultation during project onboarding.\n\nProvide post-sales technical support when needed to ensure successful implementation.\n\nDevelop and maintain network standards, documentation, and best practices.\n\nEvaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance performance, security, and reliability across manufacturing and OT environments\n\nSupport network security initiatives in partnership with the cybersecurity team.\n\nAssist in vendor selection and solution implementation.\n\nMentor junior engineers & admins and contribute to team knowledge sharing.\n\nKeep professional certifications current and actively pursue technical development.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).\n\n10+ years of experience in enterprise networking, including 3+ years in architecture/design roles.\n\nExpertise in SD-WAN, VPN, routing/switching, wireless, and cloud networking (Azure, AWS).\n\nExpert knowledge of network architecture in a large environment.\n\nExpert understanding of network protocols, design, performance and development.\n\nExpert understanding of IP addressing and subnetting, including design and implementation.\n\nStrong understanding of VLANs and networks supporting servers and storage.\n\nProven project planning and management experience.\n\nExceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities.\n\nExperience supporting DHCP and DNS operations, design and implementation utilizing BlueCat or a similar system.\n\nWorking knowledge of VPNs, including remote access.\n\nProficient with monitoring and logging tools for access management and troubleshooting using such tools as Syslog, ACS, Netflow, Solarwinds and protocol analyzers.\n\nExperience with ITSM functionalities such as change control, CMDB and ticket system.\n\nUnderstanding disaster recovery, design, implementation, and testing.\n\nAbility to work independently and within a team environment to ensure performance, reliability and security in a dynamic 24x7x365 production network environment.\n\nWritten and interpersonal skills needed to communicate successfully with individuals and groups and interact with people at all levels to communicate ideas and concepts in a clear and understandable manner.\n\nExperience with platforms such as Palo Alto, F5, Juniper and Aruba.\n\nStrong communication and documentation skills.\n\nIndustry certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE) are a plus.\n\nCOMPENSATION\nPay is based on several factors, including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.\n#LI-JL2\nPAY RANGE:\n$111,137.00 - $172,263.00\n\nCULTURE AND BENEFITS:\nAt Andersen, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do.
