The Associate will deliver, receive, unload, unpack, inspect, stage, and organize merchandise or materials. They will operate motor vehicles, power industrial trucks, and manual lifting devices as needed. They will perform various manual labor in support of construction projects, building maintenance, and landscaping. \nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nLoad and unload shipments of products and/or materials; record receipts & inventory data into a computer system or mobile application.\n\nStage, carry, and manipulate materials for pick-up or shipping.\n\nMove materials on and off shelves for storage and job preparation.\n\nMaintain service parts area; log all incoming and outgoing parts.\n\nCommunicate material usage and needs with Supervisor.\n\nKeep warehouse areas clean and organized; including but not limited to sweeping, snow shoveling, picking up debris, and maintaining safe environment. Responsible for general building maintenance and upkeep assigned by Supervisor.\n\nDeliver materials, tools, or products to job sites or assigned locations utilizing company vehicles. May also use power industrial trucks (forklifts, etc.) and manual lifting devices as needed. May assist other departments as needed with physical labor on or off jobsites.\n\nUnderstand and meet safety requirements for equipment, vehicles, power trucks, and tools. Complete all safety training in a timely manner.\n\nDIRECTION OF OTHERS\nNone.\n\nWORK SCHEDULE\nHours may vary and are dictated by business need or direction of Warehouse Supervisor I, II, or Manager.\n\nGeneral expectations of hours for this position are 6:00am to 3:00pm Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays and OT as needed by the business while paid in accordance with applicable law.\n\nESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\nMaintain reliable and predictable attendance.\n\nAbility to read, write, and understand language at a sufficient level to perform job functions.\n\nFrequently required to sit, reach, grasp, stand, and move from one area to another.\n\nFrequently required to push, pull, bend, lift, and move up to 5+ lbs.\n\nOccasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift, and move up to 83 lbs.\n\nWork in conditions with potential exposure to loud noise, extreme temperatures, or hazardous materials.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATION, SKILL, AND/OR COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT S:\nAbility to obtain any necessary licensure or certifications, as applicable.\n\n6+ months of warehouse, construction, or customer service experience.\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATION, SKILL, AND/OR COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to be organized, detail oriented, and work with a sense of urgency.\n\nAbility to read tape measures and exhibit basic math skills.\n\nAbility to identify various construction materials.\n\nAbility to utilize construction tools (hand and power tools).\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with various stakeholders using various means of communication (oral/written).\n\nMaintain valid driver's license with appropriate endorsements with acceptable motor vehicle record.\n\nPAY RANGE:\n$19.85 - $28.75\n\nCULTURE AND BENEFITS:\nAt Andersen, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do.
