Slack and team messaging are similarly inevitable surfaces in our daily digital lives. Our goal is to build a digital platform where people feel at ease spending much of their day.\n\nThis company is named after Tadao Ando, a Japanese architect known for blending brutalism with light and glass. His work also captures a sense of peaceful silence (something we hope to achieve and use to differentiate from Slack), and his buildings often house Turrells, Kusamas, and more. All of this inspires the visual elements of our platform: minimal, unobtrusive product design that lets us focus on the layers on top, such as the rhythm of messaging, sounds, etc.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\nDo a lot of reference-gathering, contribute to the buildout of our core UI / UX, mature our design system, write code, use the latest and best in design tooling, and most importantly, dogfood our product every day\n\nReview user analytics and observe what users do, vs just what they say.
